hi all,

I use Emacs as editor for almost everything. Saving a file in Emacs is done
Ctrl+X Ctrl+S.

In Stata I also sometimes hit accidently Ctrl+X Ctrl+S. After Ctrl+X nothing
happens, but Ctrl+S leads to

. save <filename>, replace

which has destroyed my dataset one time too often now!

Is there a way to unable the Stata-Keystroke Ctrl+C in Stata for Linux under
Version 7? Or could the behavior be changed simply to

. save <filename>

uli
