st: no convergence on nested logit

Hi,statalist
   I am running a three level nested logit model with a degenerate branch 
in it.But when the dependent variables are increasingly adding to the 
model, messages reporting "not concave" or "numerical derivatives are 
approximate" arise and results are not convincing thereof.How can I do?
