Dear Statalist
Using Stata 7, I have been experimenting (aka trying to learn) with xi2
since conceptually it seems to help me with testing simple comparisons after
logistic regression.

I noted that if you run a statement like:
"xi2: logistic psycther i.race*i.region" (race_1 and region_1 omitted:
reference)
the resulting odds ratios for race_2 , race_3 etc will be different from
those obtained from
"xi2: logistic psycther s.race*s.region" (race_1 and region_1 omitted:
reference)

Why is there a difference?
