Thanks to Kit Baum, the -rdplot- package on SSC has been 
revised for Stata 8. 
-rdplot- graphs residual distributions after -regress- 
and similar commands. The residuals are, by default, those
calculated by -predict, residuals- or (if the previous estimation
command was -glm-) by -predict, response-. The graph by default is a
single or multiple dotplot, as produced by -dotplot-: histograms or
box plots may be selected instead. Various options offer ways of
checking for homoscedasticity or displaying the pattern of 
heteroscedasticity. 
This is a rewrite for Stata 8 of a program originally written 
for Stata 7. That original is renamed -rdplot7- and remains 
available in the same package. 
Download in an up-to-date Stata by 
. ssc inst rdplot 
or 
. ssc inst rdplot, replace 
as the case may be.
