Buzz Burhans mentioned that it seemed that the latest version of -gllamm- is not
available from SSC. Kit Baum said that the latest version was installed on the 23rd,
however.

I think that the problem here is the *description* of the version of -gllamm- on the SSC
site. When you -ssc describe gllamm-, it says at the end of the description, "This is
version 2.1.4 of the software."

But the version is up-to-date, as Kit says: when you -type
"http://fmwww.bc.edu/repec/bocode/g/gllamm.ado"-, you can see that the latest version
(2.1.7) is loaded onto SSC.

Just to verify this, I updated my copy of -gllamm- from Sophia Rabe-Hesketh's website
at King's College, and then -ssc install gllamm-. I got the message, "all files already
exist and are up-to-date."
