The -egenmore- package on SSC has been updated.
-egenmore- is one source of -egen- functions
beyond those provided by official Stata.
(Other such sources are indicated by -findit
egen-.) Although maintained by myself, the
package includes several contributions by others.
This update consists of three time of day
functions by Kit Baum, -hms()-, -dhms()-
and -tod()-, for those handling clock
times as well as (or rather than) Stata
dates.
-egenmore- already includes some other
other date or time functions.
The package may be installed in
an up-to-date Stata by
. ssc inst egenmore
or replaced by
. ssc inst egenmore, replace
after which on-line help is available
through
. help egenmore
These three new functions assume only Stata 6,
so if they were of interest to users of
Stata 6, they could also be installed using
the -archutil- package published in STB-54.
