hello statlister:
a basic question. i need to obtain the datafiles with a particular
letter (*ab*.dta). I use the macro definition for file paths and file
local list : dir . files "*ab*" but it only search in the current
directory. i need to search in different sub and subdirectories of the
form dir/subdir1/sudir2 at the same time. any hints how to do this?
