Hello Statalist,
I am using stata 11 with win7-32 bit.
I have encountered with the error R(909):"op. sys.refuses to provide memory" when I was doing fixed effect panel data estimation. Although, there is no problem with the gmm estimation for the same dateset ("xtabond2"). My dataset's size is 6,348KB which is not that big. I tried some memory settings but the same error is popped up again and again for "xtreg" command. I also closed all the other programs running but it didn't help.
I would be so glad if someone could tell me if there is a way to solve this problem without changing my windows to 64bit.
Thank you in advance,
F. Pinar Erdem
