Hi I am doing a merge in stata 11 and got this error.

. merge 1:1 aid using d:\data\hns_aidnum
(pathsplit() in lmatabase, compiled by Stata 11.1, is too new to be run by this version of Stata and so was ignored)
          fullfilename():  3499  pathsplit() not found
                 <istmt>:     -  function returned error
r(3499);

I have no idea what this means.
thanks,

Susan Averett
