Type -la val varname- without anything following it, as in:

sysuse auto, clear

la val foreign

Stata does not have an "undo" button, which is a good thing, I think...

Betreff: st: redo assignement of value label possible?
Dear Statalist,
is there any command to undo the assignement of a value label? Or is
the only thing one can do to get rid of the label to drop the label as
such?
Regards
Mareike
