The distinction is between official Stata (type -update-) and user-written
(type -adoupdate-).

Make sure you install your packages via -ssc install- and not by simply
pasting the files into your ado/personal directory...

Yeas, now it works.

Does adoupdate update all ado-files in my computer from both Stata and SSC
and other sources?

Many thanks

Seems like you are using an outdated version of this program:
type -ssc install vendiag, replace- and run your example
again.

Hope this helps,
Maarten
