Betreff: Test equalty two Lorenz curves

List
Dear Statalist users,

I need to test if two Lorenz curves are equal. A possible test is
given by
Beach and Davidson (1983).

Could anyone help me?

-ssc install svylorenz-. The module provides estimates and sampling
variances. You can use it to test equality of Lorenz (and generalized
Lorenz) curves for 2 independent samples a la Beach and Davidson. The
help file for -svylorenz- provides references to B & D, and other
related literature. For a recent application using -svylorenz-, and
additional references, see "Measuring inequality using censored data:
a multiple imputation approach" (Stephen P. Jenkins, Richard V.
Burkhauser, Shuaizhang Feng, and Jeff Larrimore), ISER Working Paper
