It sounds as if you need two separate commands. I don't regard that as
inefficient, regardless of how you define inefficiency.

i am trying to run a series of crosstabs using the svy: tab command.

if i enter - tab var1 var2 var3 -, stata reports that there are too
many variables or stata produces a crosstab of the three variables
when i run just the tab without svy. what i would rather like is var1
by var2, and another table for var1 by var3.

is there anyway to do this more efficiently?
