If I remember correctly that does not work in this situation because you cannot
suffix the "use" or "doedit" commands this way. So Stata would open but
immediately issue an error message because it doesn't know, for instance, the
"command" C:\Documents.
In addition I'm not sure it would work if you have two different versions of the
same application. So you could switch from, say, Stata to Stat/Transfer as the
associated application but not from wsestata.exe (10.0) to wsestata.exe (9.2)
even if they are in different locations. I might be wrong, though, but I think I
had the exact same problems with Stata 8 and 9.
