everything is up to date.
do-file and dataset are identical.
the only difference is stata 10 instead of stata 9.
I have even tried a different pc. The differences between stata 9 and
stata 10 are the same.

Christian, try to narrow down the problem.
Are Stata 9 and 10 and the user-written command -gllamm- fully updated?
See -help version- and -help which- for version control, and use do-files.
