st: Updated -gzsave- and -zipsave- packages
Dear all,
The two packages -gzsave- and -zipsave- have just been updated (use -ssc
describe- for more info, -ssc install- to install). It is now possible
to compress and save directly in Stata version 7 format through the new
commands -gzsaveold- and -zipsaveold-. Thank goes to my colleague Morten
Andersen for pointing out the need for this, and to Kit Baum for making
the updates available at SSC.
As always, further comments, bug reports, etc. are most welcome.
