Dear Statalisters,

Assume that I have a program with the following syntax:

myprogram var1 var2 var3 var4, option1 option2 option3

tokenize can be used to get locals from `varlist'. However, is there a
way to create a local from [, options]? For example, I would like to
create a local from option3, which will be different for each person...
say... option3 might be the option by(). It is important to note that I do
not need to write a program with -byable (recall)-, because part of my
program will do its calculation based on other programs, which have
already the option -by-.
