How to tell regress (or other command) to avoid abbreviating
long names in the output table? I tried format with no success.
I know there might be a simple solution but I can't figure it out.
Thanks and happy new year 2006.

Happy New Year to you, too.

In my experience long variable names give inconveniencies in a lot
of places, and I always give the advice (to myself and others) to
keep variable names short (<10). This does not cure your problem -
but it might prevent it in the future.
