Hi Amadou,

One possible sollution is to use -estout-, as in the example below. I haven't spent time to make
the output look beautifull, it will just show you that the variable name is not abreviated.

*------------begin example-----------------
sysuse auto, clear
rename weight veryveryveryverylongvariablename
reg price  veryveryveryverylongvariablename foreign
est store longname
estout
*-------------end example------------------
