Sorry one may have felt Stata criticized all to harschly - the contrary was my intention. There's nothing wrong with the new graphics, maybe apart from the fact that they are a bit slower on my old machine. But latter point, together with the removal of such options as vwidth, is what slightly obstructs a quick demonstration of data (collected by my non-statistically versed biomedical colleques, who used to love me taking their data apart as I hacked in [graph y, box by(x] vwidth]).
