Subject   st: [Stata 8] Missing characters in X11 after OS X upgrade

I've upgraded to Mac OS X 10.4.1 on my laptop, which I use to connect to a Linux cluster with Stata 8.2. With the Mac OS upgrade (including X11 upgrade), some characters are missing in the xstata interface, they are "|", "[", "]", "{" and "}". They are missing from xstata only, they work fine in xterm or emacs for x11.
Since I depend on global macros, ${ETC}, and so on to get to my data, this is very awkward.

If anyone else have found have encountered this problem and perhaps found a solution I would be very grateful to hear about it.

Best regards,
Erik . Srensen
