Learn what’s new in Stata 11. This one-day course is aimed at users of
Stata 10 or earlier who are interested in learning the new
features in Stata 11. You will learn about diverse topics such as
efficient reproducible data management using point-and-click tools,
simpler do-file development using the new Do-file Editor,
and extended and unified marginal analysis using the margins command and
Stata’s new factor variables. You will also learn about Stata’s new
multiple-imputation tools and see some additions
with big ramifications. Finally, we will briefly cover some new
additions and extensions to Stata’s estimation and programming tools.
This promises to be an intense session where you can quickly learn
many of Stata 11’s new tools.

Prerequisites
- Basic computer skills
- The course is taught using Stata. It is appropriate for those who already own Stata and for those who are considering purchasing or upgrading. There is no requirement that the user already own a Stata license.

Notes
Enrollment is limited to 24
participants. Computers with Stata installed are provided at all public training
sessions.
All training courses run from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM each day.
A continental breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack will also be
provided. Breakfast is available before the course begins.
All participants are encouraged to bring a USB flash drive to all
public training sessions; this is the safest and simplest way to save your work
from the session.
