Why do I receive an error when trying to run Stata/MP on my client machine?

When installing a network license of Stata/MP on a Windows network, you
might receive one of the following errors:

The application failed to initialize properly. Click OK to terminate
the application.

This application has failed to start because the application configuration
is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.
These errors happen because Stata/MP requires a system DLL
that may not exist on client machines. In this case, you need to
download setup_mpdll.exe and
run it on each client machine that you want to use Stata/MP to install
the files Stata/MP needs.
Simply double-click the installer once it has downloaded to start the
install.
