Stata 6: How do I change the graph colors?

Title   Stata 6: Changing graph colors in Stata for Unix
Author Alan Riley, StataCorp
Date January 1999

You can set the pdXcolor environment variable. See the [GSU] pd-Pipeline drivers for a complete description.

If pdXcolor is not set, it is equivalent to containing

"black, cadet blue, yellow, white, coral, green, plum, cyan, slate blue, grey".

The first color is the background color, and the remaining colors correspond to pens 1 through 9 (see [G] pens for more information on pens).

There is also a FAQ describing the other environment variables recognized by Stata for Unix.
