How do I create a Postscript file of my graphs?

Select your Postscript printer from the Chooser. In Stata, select Print Graph. click the File radio button in the Destination text box, and select Save. This requires that you have the Apple LaserWriter printer driver installed.

I can’t save/open files!

Note: This is no longer a problem with Stata 5 or 6.

Somewhere in the hierarchy of the folder you are trying to save in is a nonalphanumeric character. The most common cause is the use of the ' character (e.g. "Jim's HD"). Remove all nonalphanumeric characters (+,-,_ are ok). If the problem is in Stata’s path, make the change and restart Stata.
