d Note to DOS users:  copy creatdct.exe in this directory to some place 
d along your path such as C:\DOS or C:\STATA.
d Note to Unix users:  The ./src subdirectory contains the C source code.
d Make a temporary directory and copy the materials from the src directory
d into it.  With the temporary directory as your current directory, type 
d "make creatdct" to the Unix prompt.  Then copy the new creatdct file to 
d some place along your path.  csh users:  remember to type "rehash" after
d posting the creatdct file.

d creatdct, typed without arguments, will present a syntax diagram.
