COMMENTS:
If you have STATA.EXE, (whether regular or intercooled), copy STATA.ICO
to directory containing STATA.EXE.  If you also have ISTATA.EXE, copy
ISTATA.ICO to directory containing ISTATA.EXE.

To link icon with stata.exe (istata.exe):

1.  Access Stata 3.0 program group.
2.  Select default msdos icon for Stata.  If you have note yet done this, 
    select New from Program Manager and create a Program Item, then go to 5.
3.  Slect File in Program Manager.
4.  Select Properties from menu.
5.  Select Change icon.
6.  Select Browse.  There may be a screen message prior to selection informing
    you that no incon exists.  Select OK to accept defualt and change to 
    directory C:\STATA\*.ICO.
7.  Select STATA.ICO (ISTATA.ICO).  Click OK.
8.  Click OK from Change Icon Group.
9.  Click OK from Program Item Properties.

STATA.ICO (ISTATA.ICO) should be linked to STATA.EXE (ISTATA.EXE).
Use standard in1 installation instructions. From inside Stata, on-line
help is available.  Type 'help ts'.

The data sets used in sts2 can be found in the dta subdirectory; copy to 
any temporary directiry if you wish.

Install in directory where stata.exe and/or istata.exe exist.
If intercooled stata is named stata.exe, simply install stata.ico.
