Reverse variable coding                                            (STB-7: dm7)

	^omscore^ varname


Description
------------

^omscore^ reverses variable coding, creating the new variable ^rr_^varname.  For
example, "^omscore x^" creates ^rr_x^.


Remarks
-------

It is necessary that the original coding be in numeric order; for example,
1 2 3 4 5.  The algorithm used is: 

                  (score_max + score_min) - score


Remarks, continued
------------------

Two conditions must obtain in order to use this utility.  First, it is neces-
sary that the original coding be in incremented by one and be in joined numeric
order; as in 1 2 3 4 5.  Second, the original variable name can be no longer
than five characters.
