d Note:  Add the contents of PROFILE.ADD to your PROFILE.DO file or, if 
d you do not have a PROFILE.DO file, simply rename PROFILE.ADD to 
d PROFILE.DO.
d The resulting PROFILE.DO file must be stored somewhere along your DOS 
d PATH.  The insert in the STB suggested C:\STATA and, while this will 
d work, it is not a great idea.  Better would be \DOS or someplace else.
d To enter Stata with automatic logging, type "stata run profile".
d Better would be to create a DOS .BAT file called ST.BAT containing the 
d single line "stata run profile".  If ST.BAT is also stored along your 
d path, you can simply type "ST" to enter Stata with automatic logging.
