.- help for ^forgraph^ (STB-49: gr36) .- Variant of ^for^ for graphics commands -------------------------------------- ^forgraph^ list [^, ti^tle^(^str^) mar^gin^(^#^) ts^ize^(^#^) sa^ving^(^filename^)^ for_options] ^:^ graphics_cmd The general multiple-list syntax of ^for^ is supported as well. Description ----------- ^forgraph^ is a variant of ^for^ that repeats stata graphics commands, automatically saves the graphs, and builds a combined graph. At each repetition, the members of list are substituted for ^@@^ in graphics_cmd. The graphics command should support an option ^saving()^. If the graphics command does not contain options, a comma ^,^ should still be typed! See help for @for@ for additional details. Options ------- ^title(^str^)^ specifies the title for the combined plot. ^margin(^#^)^ specifies the margin in building the combined graph. ^tsize(^#^)^ specifies the text size for the seperate plots. The text size for the combined plot is taken from the current value of ^textsize^. To obtain a readable combined plot, ^tsize^ should usually be specified at least twice the size of the ^textsize^. ^saving(^filename^,^[^replace^]^)^ saves the combined graph in a file that can be reviewed by ^graph using^ and printed.
