   ^st_aux^ [^, nos^how ]


Description
-----------

^st_aux^ creates variables for case-identification (set to ^_n^), failure/censoring
   (set to ^1^), and entry times (set to ^0^) if any of these variables were not 
   specified via ^stset^.


Options
-------

^show^ and ^noshow^ change whether the other st commands are to display the
    identities of the key st variables at the top of their output.


Remarks
-------

^st_aux^ tests the following names to identify non-existing variables

        case identification: id  caseid  CaseID  st_id  st_ID
        censor/failure:      died  st_d  st_died  failure  status
        entry times:         t0  etime  st_t0
