Syntax
------
                         ^chkdup^ varname

chkdup examines varname for duplicate values and reports either that none 
were found or identifies the duplicate values and the number of times that 
each occurs.  varname may be either a numeric or string variable.

	. ^chkdup price^
	(price has no duplicate values)

	. ^chkdup turn^

	duplicate values detected; the following values occur more than once:

	    turn     _DUPCNT  
	      33           2  
	      40           6  
	      41           4  
	      42           7
