COMMENTS:
Add the contents of PROFILE.ADD to your PROFILE.DO file or, if you do not 
have a PROFILE.DO file, simply rename PROFILE.ADD to PROFILE.DO.  

The resulting PROFILE.DO file must be stored somewhere along your DOS PATH.
The insert in the STB suggested C:\STATA and, while this will work, it is not
a great idea.  Better would be \DOS or someplace else.

To enter Stata with automatic logging, type "stata run profile".

Better would be to create a DOS .BAT file called ST.BAT containing the single 
line "stata run profile".  If ST.BAT is also stored along your path, you can 
simply type "ST" to enter Stata with automatic logging.
