	^egen^ [type] varname ^= mtr(^year^,^income^)^ [^if^ exp] [^in^ range]

where year is a variable or a number, 1930<=year<=1994, and income is a
variable or number, income>=0.

Description
-----------

^mtr()^ finds finds the U.S. marginal income tax rate corresponding to any given
level of taxable income for a married couple between the years 1930 and 1994.
