INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS, BAILEY-MAKEHAM

The code for DOS versions is located in the EXE subdirectory.  This
should be copied into a directory in your DOS path.  For example,
assuming C:\STATA is in your path:

        copy EXE C:\STATA

To copy the ado files, make sure that you have an \ADO directory on your C: 
disk:

        copy ADO C:\ADO

The programs supplied are suitable to run on 80286 and higher computers.

                     COMPILATION INSTRUCTIONS

If you wish to modify the programs or compile them in a different environment,
Turbo-C make files have been supplied for the following environments: 8088,
80286 (using Turbo-C), 80386 (using Metaware High C).  In addition, the
programs are known to compile on the Apple Macintosh using Think-C.

The ANSI-C compatible code is located in the SRC directory.
