SUBJECT: Incorporating Stata-created PostScript files into TeX/LaTeX documents AUTHORS: Teck-Wong Soon and Sutaip L C Saw Department of Economics and Statistics National University of Singapore SUPPORT: FAX (011)-65-775-2646 EMAIL ecsstw@nusvm.nus.sg COMMENTS: The modified PostScript driver files (eps.pen and eps.plf) described in the gr13 insert are found in update subdirectory. The bar graph used in the examples is found in the gph subdirectory. Stata 3.1 also provides an eps.pen and eps.plf files. You can use these files to replace the Stata-provided files, but you will probably want to keep a copy of the originals around in case there are problems: 1) change to where Stata is installed. Make an directory named old. Copy the current eps.pen and eps.plf files to old. 2) Copy the new eps.pen and eps.plf files into the Stata subdirectory. The insert describes how to obtain copies of the TeX macros and PostScript print driver used in the examples. Alternatively, you can use the \special{} commands supported by your current PostScript print driver. See the insert for more details.
