Subject   st: Allow refcat contents in esttab to span over multiple columns

I am using esttab to combine several "estpost tabulate" results (each
with only one column of result) into a single table. While running the
esttab command I use the refcat() option to add an extra row over
categories with the variable label of that categorical variable. I am
able to do it fine. However, I would like to know if there is anyway I
can make the content in that row span over multiple columns?

for example, I write refcat(Yes "\emph{`: variable label `a''}", nolabel)

where variable label of `a' may be having several words and I want
that to span over all columns in the final table.

Thank you for your help.

Rijo.
