Dear Statalist members,

I am trying to fit a logistic regression model that involves an
interaction between a categorical and continuous variable, but I get
the following message:

continuous: "factor variables may not contain noninteger values"

The command looks something like this:

logistic positive ib(0).categorical continuous ib(0).categorical#continuous

I can't find a reason why a continuous by categorical interaction
wouldn't work in Stata, so I would very much appreciate it if someone
can enlighten me regarding this issue.

Thank you,
Milena
