Dear All,

I would like to announce a new standalone converter of
tab-separated data into Stata datasets. While it does nothing
that Stata itself can't do, it can become very handy in the
situatuions when you don't have Stata.

Simple notepad or any spreadsheet can be used to lay out
data in tab-separated and labels for variables and values
in an optional do-file (syntax is restricted to labelling
commands).

The program can be executed from the command line and hence
be used as a component to produce Stata datasets from other
standalone programs.
