A colleague of mine asked what -predict- can do after executing -ml-. There does not seem to be any help file describing that, nor anything in the manual that explains exactly what -predict- can do. I have experimented, and if you estimate a linear regression with ml, -predict foo- gives you 'linear predictions', or what is usually called xb. It can also predict using the score option. But where is this documented?
