Alden,

I suspect r(table) holds the results obtained from -xtmixed- in the
last (in your case the 11th) imputed dataset, while the output in the
results window shows the combined results from all 11 datasets.

You can check this, running -xtmixed- on only this dataset.

Also note, that official Stata's -mi- suit has full support for
-xtmixed- (-mixed- in Stata 13) models.

Dear Statalist,

I am running a random intercept model using XTMIXED on multiply
imputed data that were generated using the ice.ado command.

My question and concern: output in the Stata window is different from
that which is saved in the returned r(table) matrix. Why does this
happen?
