I tried to run v. 10 before, but got the same results. I have installed the most recent versions and, yet, keep getting the same error messages.

Please show the code before you get the error message. A replicable example would also be great.
My first guess would be that you haven't installed the most up to date versions of gllamm and ssm. Or, that you are not running exactly the same code as before.
You could also try running your code by first running the command
version 10
