Hi Nirup,

I have got dv(cash dividend) to capture the dividend paying of firms.

While what I want to know is how to build two groups, one of which paid dividend every year and the other one paid no dividend or skipped dividend.

For example:
treg blev tang mtb logsale prof if dv>0, fe

This subsample fixed effect cannot capture firms that paid dividend in some years while paid nothing in other years.

Cheers,
Fanfan

My question is how to build these two groups? How to distinguish firms skipped dividend with firms paying dividend every year?
