Dear Statalist members,

I am puzzled with the outcome of the -symmetry- command

I have a data set with the following variables observation_id case1 case2

After running the command

symmetry case1 case2

The output was for the tests was

                                                              chi2
df Prob>chi2

Symmetry (asymptotic) | 92.00 1 0.0000
Marginal homogeneity (Stuart-Maxwell) | 92.00 38 0.0000

But in the table produced from the command all the elements were 0 except
for the diagonals.

Why do the tests indicate rejection of the null hypothesis?

I thank in advance all who read and respond to my question.

Best,
Milena Przheska
