I am using Stata 12 and spwmatrix command. I have a small file with
lat lon and homevalue. I am trying to create an inverse economic
spatial matrix using the command:
spwmatrix gecon lat lon, wn(wgt) wtype(econ) econvar(hoval)
I get
_= invalid name
r(198);
which I believe is a syntax error. Any advice on what I am doing
wrong? The other commands in this package work, but not the economic
weight commands. Thanks for any help.
