Notice: On March 31, it was announced that Statalist is moving from an email list to a forum. The old list will shut down at the end of May, and its replacement, statalist.org is already up and running.

For what it's worth, I prefer to get the messages as they come out. Makes it easier for me to reply. I have a filter set up that sends all my Stata messages to a separate folder so I can read or not read as I wish. I also use a separate email address for Stata only.

After not receiving the digest for two days straight, I emailed Marcello.
His advice was to restart my subscription to the digest. I did that, and of
course, received an automated email stating that I was already a member of
the statalist.

I have checked all sources of incoming email and I can't find the digest
anywhere. Not in spam, not in gmail, not in outlook. Perhaps there is a
"purgatory" location that I have overlooked?

In any case, today it worked, so I'll take relief in my n=1.

Statalist digest experience the same problem?"

Yes, I have had the same experience. It is infrequent, but it does occur.
(In fact, it happened to me yesterday.)

I have made two observations in connection with this, for what they're
worth:

1. On one of these occasions I found the digest in my spam folder.
After retrieving and reading it, I could not figure out what caused it to go
there, but that did happen once.

2. There have been a few intervals where I have been receiving the digest
at two different e-mail addresses. Both have been effected at times, but
_never_ on the same day.
