Hi James,

Are you talking about a user-written command? I can't find -diff- as a command, and -ttest- doesn't seem to have a -diff- option. If it is a user-written command, then the person who wrote it is responsible for the behaviour of the command. You can either wait for that person to reply, or modify their ado file to fix the problem yourself, or perhaps the easiest way is to just shorten your variable name.

Tim

I have a variable named "no_dynamic_boxes_fixedat_94". After running a
t-test in -diff command (for Difference-in-Difference estimation)
Stata creates a variable named "_no_dynamic_boxes_fixedat_94_ttest_mc"
which has more than 32 characters....

it then returns error
