Hello All,

I've checked the archives of Statlist and seen similar questions but no answer so far.

For each individual (case), I have a different set of randomly selected alternatives. I randomly pick 9 alternatives (one is chosen, so the total is 10) from 50 alternatives for each individual.

Am I allowed to do that? If I am, how can I define the base alternative?

Any help is much appreciated

Thanks
Yigit
