Barbara,

Look at -help fvvarlist-.

If 1910 is your first year, then 2006 would be the 97th value, and I will omit that year as your base reference,  so I believe your command would look like the following:

xi: reg dep indep i(98/103).year if (year>2006 & year<=2011)
