st: misreading excel numbers when imported in Stata 11.2

Dear Statlist, 

I have a problem in importing data from excel to STATA 11.2, both with copy and paste and with importing a csv file. 
Stata misread the number or at the least the number visualized in Stata are different from the one visualized in Excel. 

For example the number in excel is 6.15000000000001 whereas in Stata is read as 6.1999998. 

Any hint?
